Minimum Nanny Qualifications
Applicants must have at least 1 year of verifiable professional childcare experience caring for children outside of their immediate family.
Qualifying experience may include:
- Professional nanny experience
- Recurring babysitting for non-family households
- Daycare or childcare center experience
- Preschool or early childhood education experience
- Other verifiable professional childcare experience
Experience caring solely for your own children or immediate family members does not satisfy the minimum professional childcare experience requirement.
Professional References
Applicants must provide three (3) professional references who can verify their childcare experience, work history, reliability, or professional qualifications.
Family members and relatives are not accepted as professional references.
Please notify your references that Five Star Companion Care may contact them as part of the hiring process.
Background Clearances
Background clearances are not required to submit an application.
Applicants who receive a conditional offer of employment will be required to successfully complete all applicable background checks and clearances before beginning work.
Availability
Nanny opportunities may include daytime, evening, weekend, and/or occasional care assignments. Scheduling needs vary by family and available assignments.
